Man great thoughts. I have been wrestling with the same kind of stuff. We support Relay for Life and other organizations and nothing against them but what contact do I have with those in need. I think my time and resources would be better put into me touching the hurting and picking one or two or whatever and impacting them personally. I just feel a call to be heads on with the needs all around me and I hesitate to pray that prayer of open my ears to the needy because I want to be ready to sacrifice to help them. I think I’m ready but a little hesitant as i know that the needy are great and some of their needs are overwhelming. So God prepare me to take on this ministry and to be aware of the needy and grow my heart more compassionate to reach out to them.
